Rousset (13)

The Local Urban Plan of the commune of Rousset has been in force since it was approved in early 2019

Theapproval of the draft modification n°2 of the Local Urban Plan of the municipality of Rousset is planned for the end of 2019.

Nicole Feraud, deputy mayor of Rousset, Jean-Louis Canal, is responsible for urban planning.

Surrounded by agricultural zones and some natural zones, the urban sector of Rousset can accommodate housing projects in its UA, UB and UC zones, which represent one out of every three parcels in the commune of Rousset. Real estate projects for economic purposes will be accommodated in the EU zone, located in the south-east of the town and covering one in ten plots in the commune.

Architectural constraints, such as setbacks and landscapes to be preserved, are determined in the regulations of the different zones defined by the Local Urban Plan of Salon-de-Provence.

Rousset: a historic Provençal town with some real estate projects

This Bouches-du-Rhône municipality is hosting 7 new housing developments in its centre in 2018 and has authorised a building permit for individual and collective housing in the Bannettes district.

The commune of Rousset, a historic hamlet along the Via Aurelia from the time of the Roman occupation of Aix-en-Provence, has a number of heritage elements scattered throughout its territory, but it has not defined a protection perimeter that would oblige any real estate project to have the approval of the Architectes des Bâtiments de France.
