Miramas (13)

The Local Urban Plan of the commune of Miramas has been in force since 2017

Jean Guillon, deputy mayor of Miramas, Frédéric Vigouroux, is responsible for urban planning, regional development and public contracts.

Real estate projects for collective housing will be accommodated in the municipality of Miramas in zones UB, UC and UD, which cover half of the land. The UD zone, which includes the individual housing areas and small apartment buildings on the edge of the built-up area, covers 40% of the plots in the municipality. The UA zone, which covers 15% of the plots in the municipality of Miramas, concerns the medieval village of Miramas le Vieux on the one hand and the town centre on the other. The town centre can also accommodate real estate projects for collective housing.

Miramas: a historic town with some real estate projects

This Bouches-du-Rhône municipality is authorising 4 building permits in 2018, for collective housing, equivalent to 90 new homes, and individual housing.

Miramas-le-Vieux, situated on a hill overlooking the Etang de Berre, is the original medieval village around which the town of Miramas developed with the arrival of the railways. Only the village of Miramas-le-Vieux is protected, which allows any real estate project in the commune of Miramas to be launched without being subject to the approval of the Architecte des Bâtiments de France.
