Arcachon (33)

The Local Urban Plan of the commune of Arcachon has been in force since 2017

Martine Phelippot, deputy mayor of Arcachon, Yves Foulon, is responsible for town planning.

The Local Urban Plan defines regulations which include architectural constraints designed for the commune such as the setback, reserved sites, notably around the Arcachon station, and landscapes to be preserved, which cover almost the entire commune with the aim of protecting green spaces.

Arcachon: a historic tourist town with many real estate projects

10 building permits have been authorised for the past year in this commune of the Gironde for individual and collective housing. They are located in the town centre, near the Ville d'Hiver district and in the Aiguillon district.

The commune has defined a heritage protection perimeter around the buildings of the Ville d'Hiver, classified as a remarkable element of the building. Born from a real estate operation carried out in the 19th century by the Pereire brothers, who contributed to the development of Arcachon, the Ville d'Hiver has been a holiday resort ever since. The real estate projects envisaged on this perimeter will have to be submitted to the opinion of the Architect of the Buildings of France.
