In Vannes, the creation of housing is mainly done within OAPs
About twenty Development and Programming Operations (OAP ) are planned throughout the territory. Some of them provide for the creation of housing, offices and shops, while others will be exclusively dedicated to the construction of individual housing, such as the Trehuinec OAP.
In 2019, more than 30 real estate programmes were marketed in Vannes.
Vannes has a good rate of social housing, at 20%. The city wishes to maintain this good dynamic by imposing a minimum of 25% of social housing in the OAPs.
Short-term opportunity: construction of over 1,000 dwellings
Several large areas will allow the construction of collective and individual housing :
- The Beaupré-la-Lande OAP (in orange): to the east of the commune, it plans the construction of 600 to 700 dwellings, 70% to 80% of which will be flats. A 25% share of social housing will be imposed.
- The Kerbiquette OAP: to the north of the commune, it provides for the construction of 430 individual or semi-detached houses , 25% of which are social housing.
Long-term opportunity: redevelopment of the marina
This is the flagship project of the city of Vannes for the coming years: the redevelopment of the Marina (in blue). Several hundred homes will be built, new shops will be opened and a new nautical base will be built.
