Le Lavandou (83)

The Local Urban Plan of the commune of Le Lavandou has been in force since 2017

Bruno Capezzone, deputy mayor of Le Lavandou, Gil Bernardi, is responsible for urban planning in the commune.

Architectural constraints, such as the maximum height allowed, which is limited to one level on certain plots near the port of Lavandou, and the landscapes to be preserved, are regulated by the zones defined in the Lavandou Local Urban Plan.

Real estate projects forcollective housing will be welcomed in the UB zone, which concerns one parcel in ten and which is a zone corresponding to the recent extensions of the village housing mostly collective buildings, and UD, a moderately dense urbanisation zone for residential use, which occupies two thirds of the parcels of land in the commune of Lavandou.

Le Lavandou: a 20th century town with some real estate projects

This commune in the Var has authorised 5 building permits in 2018, mainly located in the Calanques district, for individual and collective housing, equivalent to 52 new homes.

Occupied since the Neolithic period, the commune of Le Lavandou only acquired its status as a commune by separating from the commune of Bormes-les-Mimosas at the beginning of the 20th century, which saw the construction of the Villa Dollander near the port, classified as a historic monument. Only a perimeter around the Calanques du Pilon is protected and requires the approval of the Architectes des Bâtiments de France before any real estate project.
