Sanary-sur-Mer: a historic seaside resort with a few real estate projects

This commune in the Var did not receive any building permit applications in 2018 but has welcomed 12 new property developments in the last year, located around the port and on the Bandol road.

Occupied since ancient Greece, Sanary-sur-Mer is a tourist resort that was home to Jacques-Yves Cousteau during the Second World War and has flourished since the 1980s. With the exception of a protected perimeter in the Mortier district, real estate projects in the commune of Sanary-sur-Mer do not need to be approved by an Architecte des Bâtiments de France.
