The Local Urban Plan of the commune of La Baule-Escoublac has been in force since 2015

The Local Urban Plan of La Baule-Escoublac has been in force since 2015, and a simplified modification, currently being prepared, is planned for the end of 2019.

Land developers will find land opportunities for collective housing mainly in the UA, UB and UD zones. One parcel in ten is in the UA zone, which corresponds to the various central points of La Baule-Escoublac, most of which is protected, as it is located on the remarkable heritage site determined in the commune. One parcel out of four is in the UB zone, a suburban zone of which one sector, La Pinède, is located on the remarkable heritage site. 35% of the land in La Baule-Escoublac is in the UD zone, a mixed use zone.

La Baule-Escoublac: a historic seaside resort that attracts land developers

This Loire-Atlantique municipality is authorising 9 building permits in 2018, notably in the town centre, for individual and collective housing, corresponding to 86 new collective housing units.

Located on the bay of Le Pouliguen and a seaside resort since the 19th century, La Baule-Escoublac has seen the districts along its beaches - Casino - Benoît, town centre - Gare and La-Baule-les-Pins - classified as remarkable heritage sites. Any real estate project in these areas will be subject to the opinion of the Architectes des Bâtiments de France.
