Draguignan (83)

The Local Urban Plan of the commune of Draguignan is in force since 2019

Richard Strambio, mayor of Draguignan, is surrounded by Christine Premoselli, deputy mayor in charge of land affairs, and Sylvie Francin, deputy mayor in charge of urban planning.

In terms of urban change, the city has gradually moved eastwards since the 2000s, particularly in the Chabran, Sainte-Barbe and La Foux districts.

Housing projects can be accommodated mainly in the UC zone, which corresponds to the peripheral residential areas and which covers one parcel in four in the municipality of Draguignan. The UA zone, which includes the historic centre and the contemporary town centre and which covers one parcel in ten, as well as the UB zone, which designates the town centre extension districts and which covers 10% of the parcels, can also accommodate housing construction projects.

Draguignan: a historic town with some real estate projects

6 building permits were authorised in 2018 in this Var commune, for individual and collective housing, corresponding to 144 new homes.

The historic town centre, which houses historic monuments from several periods such as a Neolithic menhir, medieval houses or the 17th century clock tower, as well as the areas around the Pierre de la Fée dolmen and the Saint-Hermentaire chapel, are protected and any real estate project within these areas will have to be submitted for the opinion of the Architect of Bâtiments de France.
