Annemasse (74)

The Local Urban Plan of the municipality of Annemasse is in force since 2018

Michel Boucher, 1st deputy mayor of Annemasse, Christian Dupessey, is in charge of urban planning for the municipality.

Architectural constraints are defined in the regulations of each zone of the municipality of Annemasse and determine the building potential of a property. These include the authorised height, which must not interfere with the view cones that dot the commune of Annemasse, the setback and the landscapes to be preserved.

The commune has defined 3 development project zones in the town centre and 2 development and programming guidelines zones on either side of the Route d'Étrembières. Several reserved sites are also defined by the Local Urban Plan, concentrated in the Brouaz district, which will notably accommodate nature areas around the Pays de Savoie private hospital.

Annemasse: a recent town with many real estate projects

This Haute-Savoie commune is authorising 14 building permits, mainly in the town centre, between 2018 and the first quarter of 2019, for collective and individual housing.

The town of Annemasse wasreally developed with the arrival of the railway in the 19th century, but it does not have any listed historic monuments or protected areas. Thus, real estate projects in the town do not need to be submitted to the Architectes des Bâtiments de France for approval.
