Saint-Égrève authorises numerous building permits around the tramway line

The commune of Saint-Égrève is eligible for the Pinel tax exemption scheme (zone B1). Property prices stand at 3600€ per square metre.

Along the E line of the tramway, the city has recently authorised a few collective building permits for the construction of 160 dwellings, including a dozen individual dwellings.

Soil pollution and seismic risks must be taken into account for a property project in Saint-Égrève

In the Rochepleine district there are 2 underground cavities. The first one is located along the Rue des Peupliers and the second one is located east of the Chemin de Rochepleine, near the Rif Tronchard river, in the Massif de Chartreuse.

Saint-Égrève is located in seismic zone 4, i.e. a medium seismic hazard. It may be necessary to equip buildings with earthquake protection. In the town centre, near the Rue de Visancourt, there is a risk of falling rocks and landslides.

80 sites are polluted or potentially polluted in Saint-Égrève, in particular along the D1075 departmental road and the A48 motorway, as well as in the La Gare district. Before the launch of a real estate project, a survey and soil decontamination will probably be necessary.

The east of Saint-Egrève is partly covered by the Chartreuse Regional Nature Park, which has its own charter, and building in the vicinity will have to comply with it.
